07/22/2008 - In order to deal with continued exploits of the site, a fix has been implemented that restricts certain words. You may find this to be annoying, as it will limit certain letter combinations to be submitted. An upcoming fix will remove this limitation, but may take some time to implement.
07/03/2008 - The site has been attacked a couple times now by hackers. The problem has been rectified, but it caused many mixes to be mis-categorized. Apologies to all; you should now be able to update the category of your mix successfully.
04/18/2008 - Art of the Mix is Yahoo Pick of the Week.
04/01/2008 - Been blogging next door about shows I've been going to lately, including SxSW. A couple of the reviews (Go Slow Poke, Flowers Forever & Elf Power) have black and white photos by Adam Forslund.

From out of the Dark Clouds do I see Sunshine? I’ve just logged on to AotM, and for the first time in weeks wasn’t hit by a nasty. ‘Everything Is Gonna Be Fine’ is the ongoing line in the opening track of this fantastic mix. Fingers crossed eh..
So congrats to mrpretzel for this weeks honours, it so easily could’ve gone to his other posting this week [120594]. Joint runners up for the award – DJ Karen with her wonderful Mixwit Mix [120538] it’s a scorcher. To tornadoZ [120582] for number 4 in his fine Scarecrow Series, a more original mix you’ll never see. And to Moe for his synthpop delights [120492]. Every mix he posts is a MotW in mine eyes..
Finally a big thanks to JKJ for literally single-handedly running this site. No wonder he’s got no time for actually posting mixes!
