What is Art of the Mix?

Art of the Mix (AOTM for short) is a website dedicated to mixed tapes, mixed cds and  playlists.  It's been around since 1997. We generally believe that mix making takes something passive (listening to music) and turns it into some active (making a mix). 

How does the iTunes integration work?

There are a few integration points. First, all song previews are pulled from iTunes. Second, many songs are linked with iTunes so you can purchase them right from Art of the Mix. Third, some mixes are available in their entirety to be purchased from iTunes. Art of the Mix syncs nightly with iTunes, downloading all iTunes playlists and iMixes.
